Karnataka Chitrakala Prishath is an Art Complex, operating in Bengaluru from the mid-sixties as the leading centre for Visual Arts.
It is a landmark for visual culture in the city and the State. It comprises a network of Museums, Galleries and Archives that display a valuable collection of Pan – Indian Visual Culture that includes Folk, Traditional, Modern and Contemporary Art.
It is a tourist spot, a centre for visual discourse, art lovers and space for visiting artists from all over the world.
Karnataka Chitrakala Prishath under its wings has The College of Fine Arts and The Bengaluru School of Visual Arts has Undergraduate, Post –Graduation and Research Program in Visual Arts for Indian and overseas students.
