M.V.A
The Masters Degree is undertaken by any one who has successfully completed BVA/BFA Degree from any recognized University in India and abroad. The minimum percentage of marks shall be overall 55%. The student shall undergo an aptitude test consisting of practical as well as a written and a viva voce. The selection process is strictly against the availability of the seats in the specified stream of study. (The total seats available is 25 only).
Two theory papers are compulsory for each stream, for two semesters and a dissertation is compulsory in the fourth semester, for the MVA Degree students. Art History specialization, however, has a set of five papers in every semester.
COURSES AVAILED:
PAINTING, SCULPTURE, GRAPHIC ART, APPLIED ART & ART HISTORY.
POST DIPLOMA:
The Post Diploma is similar to MVA course, with an exception of theory papers and dissertation. The Degree given will be Post Diploma in related specialization. However there are only three streams available for Post Diploma—Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Art. Any student who has completed five year Diploma or Degree shall be eligible for Post Diploma course.
